Rachael + David | Life's Finer Moments Wedding | Clay Center, KS | Rose Wheat Photography

Driving in to Clay Center, I really didn't know what to expect. It's a quaint small town with a historic feel, complete with local restaurants and one of the biggest antique stores I have ever seen. However, their wedding was not to be held within the city limits. A few miles out and tucked between some Kansas hills rested Life's Finer Moments, a beautifully styled and perfectly located wedding venue.

Rachael was full of giggles as she calmly prepared to see her groom. With every new detail her nerves grew, until finally she was able to see David. It made for one of the most heartfelt first look experiences I have ever seen. Once they were together, it seemed to made everything worrisome fade to black. It was clear that their top priorities were standing right in front of them. This alone made it terribly hard for them to contain an ounce of their excitement.

After their sun-filled ceremony inside their venue, their guests filled their tummies with homemade sweets and found their way downstairs where they cheerfully toasted and danced with the newlyweds.

The joy they felt around each other made for a perfectly joyful wedding. It was a kind of happiness that you don't see every day, and you feel like you've been given a special gift when you do. Take a moment to share in their happiness as you look at their story below!
