The B Family | Murphy Dome | Fairbanks, AK | Rose Wheat Photography

This gorgeous bunch from the south made their way across Alaska, gracing Fairbanks with their presence. An incredibly adventurous bunch, dressed to the nines, elected to make the short hike on the glorious but foggy Murphy Dome. This family has the beauty of a Ralph Lauren ad, but they're not faint-hearted. They endured tundra, puddles, and slippery rocks, all with the happiest of attitudes and ultimate poise!

I hope you all enjoyed your many adventures in the Last Frontier and made it safely back to your respective homes. Thank you all for reaching out to me to remember this special time you spent together!

The P Family | A Life Story | Creamer's Field | Fairbanks, AK | Rose Wheat Photography

While catching the last few glimpses of wintry snow here in Fairbanks, I was joined by this lovely family over at Creamer's Field. While the area was melting like the Wicked Witch of the West, it proved to be a beautiful setting to capture this perfectly put together family. This mom and dad deserve serious props for their ability to coordinate their half dozen children! I was so impressed by their good attitudes and willingness to smile. It helps that they're gorgeous too. ;)

Thank you for asking me to take your family photos! It was such a pleasure to have the opportunity to photograph you!

The G Family | Manhattan, KS | Rose Wheat Photography

Back during the most beautiful Kansas fall (no really, that fall should go down in history books), the Gillam family hosted their session overlooking the immaculate Flint Hills. It is always so fun to work with Stephanie, but this was my first time interacting with her fun-loving, energetic family. It was my last chance to do so before leaving Kansas, and I couldn't have been happier with the result. They put themselves out there and yielded some magically candid and beautiful moments. Thank you all for being willing to laugh, tickle, and grin! I hope you enjoy having these images as much as I enjoyed taking them!

At the end of their session when the sun was just starting to settle in below the horizon, I asked the girls to do what every girl loves to do: twirl.

It was simply magical.
